Camera Lens Reviews

Communicating with NPC:
NPC recommends selecting the sRGB ICC color space profile in your camera as well as your “file rendering software”. (Photoshop, Light Room, Capture One, DPP, etc.) These file rendering programs have the ability to change your file exposure and color, after capture, and before converting to JPEG or TIFF. Files MUST be one of these types for printing purposes.

Setting Camera Preferences:
The preferred type of file capture with most studios is the camera RAW. JPEG files may be captured, either simultaneously with the RAW file or alone as the primary, however, the file capture elements of “exposure” and “white balance” become crucial when using the JPEG only option. When image files are “incorrectly” captured using the JPEG only selection, less than acceptable prints will result from these files.
